Abstract Moving your employee satisfaction surveys to the Web will dramatically reduce the cost and significantly improve the quality of the results you receive. In fact, the cost of Web-based surveys is so low that even if you have never implemented employee satisfaction surveys you should consider the Web approach. There are several key benefits to using the Web. Response rates are typically higher on the Web because surveys are easier to fill out and respondents can complete them at their convenience. Survey response option are controlled and validated while the survey is being completed eliminating data entry errors and ensuring a higher quality response. Web based surveys save analysis time because the data is collected automatically and the results are immediately analyzed and charted. The advent of inexpensive and easy to use Web survey software has dramatically simplified employee satisfaction surveys. This article explains how to begin.
